Operating principleEverything here is as clear as possible and already familiar to us, as we've covered this operating principle in detail in reviews of systems like iTarget. But some of you may be reading our blog for the first time, so let's start from the beginning. You attach a paper target to the wall or place the Digital Steel on a surface at the desired height. Opposite it, place a tripod with a smartphone, pre-installed with the Laser Strike app, so that your device's camera is pointed at the target. Insert the laser cartridge into the barrel of your pistol or rifle, and load the weapon. When the shot is fired, the trigger mechanism safely engages the laser cartridge, projecting a laser spot onto the target at the point of impact. The precise coordinates of this spot are instantly captured by your smartphone's camera and saved in the Laser Strike app. It's worth noting that depending on your weapon, you may need to cock the slide before each shot, unless you're using a revolver, as with a revolver, you'll only need to cock the hammer. Using the app, you can analyze the performance of your shots and make adjustments. |
