Operating principleWhen the trigger is fully pulled, an underbarrel laser is activated, projecting a laser beam invisible to the human eye. This may seem unremarkable, but unlike most simulators, where the laser spot on the target is captured by a high-precision camera, this target uses reflective elements on the target itself to accurately record the impact location. It's worth noting that a sound is played when a hit occurs, and a red light remains on the target. The target's functionality is limited to two built-in training modes: a timed mode, in which the shooter is asked to score the most points in 10 seconds, and a scoring mode, in which the score is assessed after 13 shots have been fired. This immediately brings to mind the targets from the Australian Series 2 Pro-Shooter Trainer training system, although they have a number of significant differences. |
